Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, Puy-deDomme France in August 9th 1976. Audrey is the largest child in a family of four. Audrey's parents who was both dentists and a teacher, recognized and encouraged their daughter's love for acting and drama on an early stage. Their support was more than enough to thwart her initial desire to become primatologist. The rise of her as a young actress was quick and marked by her early successes. Her career began in earnest in 1999 when she started acting professionally. Following her studies Tautou took part in the French talent scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was a member of the church as well as the Institut Catholique de Paris during her childhood, but she has since gotten rid of the aforementioned societal influences. She pursued a career in modeling along with her acting career. She is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel often referred to as The Chanel Muse. She also has a serious passion for photography. She recently exhibited her work during the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. Her photography largely focuses on celebrity and fame, and turns the camera on those who scrutinized her when she exploded to fame with Amelie in addition to a series of self-portraits. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her debut role as Amelie Poulain in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie. Amelie made international waves in the field of box office, and was awarded awards across the world. It's the highest-grossing French film to be released in the United States. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in many movies ranging that ranged from British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday of fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
